# 3. Care Offered

Listing the care you offer lets care seekers understand if you can provide a particular type of specialist care they’re looking for. Care Offered contributes 20% towards Profile Completeness.

## **How to add Care Offered**

To add Care Offered to your homecare.co.uk profile go to your Portal and click on Care Offered on the right hand side.

Alternatively you can access Care Offered via the left hand menu navigate to:

1. Profile
2. Content Included In Profile Completeness
3. Care Offered

If you are logged in as a group, scroll to the appropriate agency and click "Enter"

## What to do

1. Across the seven collections listed, answer Yes or No to every option.
2. New collections include:

- Types of Home Care
  - Visiting Care
  - Live-in Care
  - 24 Hour Care
  - Nursing / Nurse Led Care
  - Overnight Care (Waking)
  - Overnight Care (Sleeping)
- Contract Durations
  - Respite / Short Term
  - Ongoing / Long Term
- Age Ranges
  - Children (0–18)
  - Younger Adults (18–65)
  - Older Person Care (65+)
- Personal Care Services
  - Washing & Dressing
  - Companionship
  - Toileting Assistance
  - Continence Care
  - Feeding & Drinking Assistance
  - Medication Assistance (Oral)
- Household Services
  - Food Preparation & Serving
  - Shopping / Errands
  - Cleaning Service
  - Laundry
  - Call-in Service
  - Transportation Service
- Nursing / Nurse Led Care (only appears if Nursing/Nurse Led Care above is set to “Yes”)
  - Peg Feeding
  - Stoma Care
  - Medication Assistance (Intravenous)
  - Wound Dressing
  - Catheter Care
- Other Care Provided
  - Dementia / Alzheimer’s
  - Cancer
  - Stroke
  - Parkinson’s
  - Learning Disability
  - Mental Health Condition
  - Alcohol / Drug Misuse
  - Hospital Discharge
  - Palliative Care
  - Physical Disability
  - Visual / Hearing Impairment

3. After updating, click Update to save your changes.

## Why this matters

- **Profile Completeness** - All fields must now be answered (Yes or No) to complete the section and gain your 20% Profile Completeness.
- **Search Accuracy** - The more precisely you describe your services, the more likely they match care seeker queries which will resulting in better quality enquiries.
